Leys Close
Oadby

Standing proud at the top of a quiet cul-de-sac of only six properties, an incredibly rare visitor to the open market in the form of a two bedroom detached bungalow, now presenting an exciting renovation project for those looking to downsize and settle in the highly sought after suburb of Oadby. Offering incredible potential for remodelling and reconfiguration like the surrounding properties, the property is traditional in layout and sits on a particular wide plot with far-reaching field views to the rear.

With immediate kerb appeal with a long driveway to accommodate several vehicles, entry is through a double-glazed entrance porch that opens to an entrance hallway. To the right hand side of the plan, a bright, airy and spacious front reception room. With two double glazed to the front aspect allowing natural light to flood the space on offer, a feature fireplace is positioned to the centre making an excellent focal point whilst an extension to the rear has curated a well appointed conservatory. To the centre of the plan, a fitted breakfast kitchen is equipped with sufficient base-level units and space for relevant appliances but does require refurbishment throughout. To the rear, a lean-to provides access to the well-maintained South-facing rear garden. To the left hand side of the plan, two double bedrooms equipped with fitted wardrobes provide sufficient space for relevant bedroom furniture whilst a three piece family bathroom has been altered into a wet-room. To the rear, an incredibly private, beautifully maintained and landscaped mainly laid-to-lawn South-facing rear garden boasts a vast array of established shrubbery, fruit trees and borders from the neighbouring properties with a separate patio area to the side. To the front, raised shrubbery provides immense privacy from neighbouring properties with a large driveway that could fit several vehicles and a detached single garage.

Despite requiring refurbishment throughout, the property is equipped with gas-central heating and majority double-glazing. The rarity of bungalows coming onto the market in the immediate area, especially ones that require refurbishment, are few and far between. Early interest really is essential to truly appreciate the potential the property has on offer.

Vendor comments:

" Our family have lived in Leys Close for 60 years. It's quiet and the neighbours all know each other which is really nice. The property has proven a wonderful family home and we hope the next owner enjoys their time there as much as we have. "
