The Swere
Deddington

Hortons are delighted to offer this exceptional property to the market, being in the highly sought after village of Deddington, specifically on the well regarded Deddington Grange development constructed by David Wilson Homes.

The property is very well presented throughout, and has ben upgraded from new by the current owners.

"Great size for a family of four, with a part-converted garage office/space to sleep guests. Lovely neighbours/neighbourhood with everyone in a WhatsApp group, planning park BBQs in the summer, sharing/lending/borrowing stuff, etc. A lot of young families with children between 2-6. South facing garden, with the sun in the house and on the garden from AM to sunset. Office space has bifold doors and is great in the summer for a bit of shade."

As the seller states in the comment above, this area already has established a wonderful sense of community, being a brilliant space to raise a family with all the local amenities nearby for children. The school across the road is particularly good, with many moving to the area in order to secure a catchment spot within the school.

Other improvements include space to park two cars on the drive side-by-side. Garage office has a small loft for extra storage. Front of garage has enough space for storage and tumble dryer. Garage has been converted into an office/spare room with a raised ceiling. Driveway has been extended to fit two cars side-by-side. Front and rear lawn has been treated with regular treatment to maintain by professional lawn care.

It's evident this house has been well cared for, and the natural light pouring into the property further enhances the living space and stylish design choices. The property is on the edge of the development having tree views from the from aspect.

Deddington provides good local shops and facilities, including the well-known Eagles delicatessen, a Co-op supermarket, a post office, a surgery, a highly regarded farmers market, and a number of public houses. Comprehensive facilities can be found in the nearby towns of Banbury, Woodstock, Chipping Norton, and Oxford. Daylesford Organic Farm is 18 miles away, and the popular Soho Farmhouse is only 7 miles away. The village has excellent communications with access to London by road in approximately 70 miles, London Marylebone from either Bicester or Oxford train stations taking approximately 45 minutes, Birmingham Airport is approximately 45 miles, Heathrow Airport 62 miles, and Oxford Airport 12 miles. Sporting activities in the area include racing at Cheltenham and Stratford-upon-Avon, polo at Kirtlington, golf at Tadmarton or Heythrop Park, and motor racing at Silverstone.
