The process of renting
1: Finding a property
Use our property search page to find a property that meets your requirements and then contact us via phone, WhatsApp or email to arrange a viewing.
2: Reserving a property
Once you have viewed a property and you have decided you want to proceed, speak to our team to discuss paying a holding deposit and starting your application. Our application process is done online and can be completed from your phone or computer.
3: Referencing and signing
Once your application has been submitted, we will carry out reference checks. Once successful, we will contact you to arrange the signing of your tenancy agreement.
4: Payments
The final step is to pay your first months rent and security deposit. We will register your deposit with the deposit protection scheme.
5: Move-in a day
Congratulations, it’s now time to move into your new home!
Technology
Tenants of properties managed by Hortons will have access to an online portal and smart phone app where you’ll be able to communicate with your property manager, track your rent payments, access all of the files related to your tenancy and raise and track any maintenance issues.
